Localcast radio @ Systo festival
The main message is aimed at strengthening the connection between musical genres, collectives and listeners with the general festival medium. Having few audio streams in real time, without latency (because the radio is analog), there is a unique opportunity to mix the sounding compositions performed right now on stages distant from each other. In the era of eclecticism, when everything is a reworked and merged of more and more complex concepts, mixing further strengthen, perhaps exponentially, this moment, but already in a unit of time of the present, and not afterwards with recordings and listening ten times.
It also resolves the ordinary wish to know what music is playing on interested stage in any spot of a big festival.
We had 4 radio transmitters installed on the stages, 100 simple oldschool receivers that was rented out to festival visitors and FAQ how to tune android to catch up radio.
Besides, we had our own spot where we had sound system and mixer to mix music from all stages.
